Where Beaverton sits
Beaverton is the lakeshore town where the Beaver River meets the east side of Lake Simcoe, in what was Thorah Township before Brock was formed in 1974. For listing purposes the community takes in the built-up village between the lake and Highway 12, from the cottage streets toward Cedar Beach on the north down past the harbour and the fairgrounds to the Highway 48 junction on the south edge. TRREB draws the line roughly at the village limits, so a waterfront or farm property a few minutes out can appear under Rural Brock instead; ask which community a listing carries before you filter.
