Uxbridge's townhouse rows and how they differ
The Toronto Street South rows are the established choice: two-storey brick units of three bedrooms with a single garage, a driveway that fits one more car and a fenced yard, within walking distance of the plaza and a short drive from the arena and Elgin Park. Some blocks front a public street and some face a private lane that the owners maintain together. The east-side rows are newer, with taller ceilings, an open main floor, sometimes a third storey and a rear lane garage, and they sit closer to the golf courses and the newer schools. A handful of townhouse-style units in adult-lifestyle enclaves are freehold on a private road with a monthly charge for grounds, which is not a condominium fee but behaves like one. End units gain side windows and a strip of yard and usually list slightly higher. The live grid above shows the current mix.
